Job summary

Via is seeking a Senior Benefits Specialist in New York. You will own the end-to-end benefits experience for US and global programs, ensuring compliance and a superior employee experience across the benefits lifecycle.

You will manage enrollments, regulatory reporting, carrier billing audits, and annual open enrollment while collaborating with People Operations, payroll, and external partners.

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of dedicated US benefits administration experience.
• Deep knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, FMLA, COBRA, FLSA laws.
• Experience with unionized employee populations and bargaining agreements.
• Strong auditing and financial reconciliation abilities.
• Experience with Workday Benefits Administration and EDI feeds is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end benefits experience for employees (enrollments, offboarding, COBRA, life events).
• Create clear employee communications, benefit booklets, policy guides, and education sessions.
