Job summary

OneDigital is seeking a Senior Benefits Consultant to retain clients, oversee strategy and renewals, and communicate industry trends. The role drives design, benchmarking, service delivery, and cross-selling opportunities while maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers.

Requirements include 7+ years’ benefits consulting, Health Care Reform knowledge, Excel proficiency, and a current life/health license. Base pay ranges from $110,000 to $120,000 per year nationwide.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of benefits consulting experience.
• Up-to-date knowledge of Health Care Reform and related insurance products.
• Practical knowledge of quoting process and tools.
• Proficient in Excel and familiar with databases.
• Valid life and health insurance license.

Responsibilities

• Develops sophisticated benefit design and renewal strategies.
• Oversees pre-renewal strategy, RFP distribution, and open enrollment strategy.
• Determines full scope of services for clients.
• Keeps client service teams informed on timelines and renewal updates.
• Drives revenue and profitability for client accounts.
• Monitors project scope, budget, and client satisfaction.
• Onboards new clients with implementation planning and timelines.
• Cultivates strong client and carrier relationships.
