Job summary

Refresco Beverages US Inc. is seeking a Benefits Administrator to manage the day-to-day operation of group benefit and retirement programs in a Tampa-based role. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, EEOC, ACA, and company policy while acting as the SME for benefits and payroll concepts.

You will partner with HRIS vendors, administer enrollment, conduct annual audits, generate reports, and contribute to process improvements across HR and payroll functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or related field and 10 years of benefits/retirement administration experience.
• Eight years of experience with analytical and administration of benefit programs.
• Experience with UKGPro or ADP vendors/systems; WEX preferred.
• Strong data analysis and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of ERISA, ACA and benefits compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the life cycle of employee data and system functionality.
• Partner with HRIS admins (UKGPro/Wex) for enrollment activities.
• Assist with benefits system setup, testing, and self-service features.
• Coordinate annual compliance testing with external auditors.
• Audit weekly funding notifications for applicable plans.
• Process STD pay requests and audit disability payments.
• Manage direct bill processes and vendor reconciliations.
• Communicate benefit premium collections and direct billing obligations.
• Audit eligibility during leaves and coordinate with payroll.
• Administer vendor interfaces and resolve discrepancies.
• Analyze large data sets to identify trends and patterns.
• Review weekly payroll reports for accuracy of contributions.
• Support ACA filings with external benefits administrator.
• Assist with 401(k) retirement plan administration.
• Craft employee communications reflecting company culture.
• Provide recommendations on benefit trends and regulatory changes.
• Produce ongoing and ad-hoc reporting.
• Drive process improvement and cross-functional HR collaboration.
