Center for Elders’ Independence in Oakland, CA is seeking a Benefits Case Manager under the supervision of the Director of Enrollment and Member Services.

The role ensures CEI participants are enrolled in eligible income and insurance benefits, coordinating with participants, families, representative payees and government agencies to proactively address benefit eligibility issues and support related projects.

Formación

• High School diploma required.
• Experience or knowledge in Medi-Cal, Medicare and other senior benefits.
• Excellent customer service and service recovery skills.
• Strong case management skills with cross-functional teamwork.
• Good communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
• Proficiency with computer applications including spreadsheets and word processing.

Responsabilidades

• Keeps track and ensures benefits eligibility needs are met with participants, families, and payees.
• Manages assigned eligibility caseload including enrollment and home visits.
• Maintains organized, secure filing of caseload information.
• Generates regular reports on eligibility status as needed.
