Job summary

Matura Farrington, Inc. seeks an experienced Benefits Manager to lead the firm’s employee benefits programs, leave administration, and day-to-day operations. You will drive strategic design, regulatory compliance, vendor management, and financial reporting, while supervising two benefits professionals.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, offering an opportunity to shape benefits strategy, improve processes, and deliver high-quality support to employees across the firm.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in benefits administration or total rewards.
• Experience managing benefits programs and leaves.
• Experience supervising staff and developing talent.
• Strong knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, CFRA, and ADA.

Responsibilities

• Oversee benefits programs including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; retirement plans; wellness initiatives; and leaves.
• Lead benefits planning, design, renewals, and cost management.
• Supervise two benefits team members and develop their performance.
• Manage relationships with carriers, brokers, and third-party administrators.
• Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to ensure accurate records and reporting.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and lead continuous process improvements.
