Brown & Brown is seeking a Benefits Consultant to join our Salt Lake City, UT team. The Benefits Consultant handles account management, client contact, and daily service tasks, using technical expertise to retain clients.

Responsibilities include renewals, reporting, and advisory services on compliance and vendor relationships. The role emphasizes independent work, strong analytical skills, and exceptional communication, with travel likely and a strong focus on benefits strategy and client

Qualifications

• Minimum of a 4-year degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5+ years of employee benefits experience with strong knowledge of benefits.
• 1+ years of financial experience with strong MS Office Excel skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; highly organized and confidential.

Responsibilities

• Manage employee benefits accounts with day-to-day client contact.
• Administer marketing and renewal functions and assist with financial reporting.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and benefit analyses for clients.
• Develop client benefit strategy and onboard new clients with Team Lead.
• Prepare proposals, renewals of benefit coverages and vendor relations.
