Job summary

ESAB Corporation, a global leader in fabrication technology and gas control equipment, seeks a Senior Benefits Analyst to oversee health and welfare plans, retirement programs, and other employee benefit offerings. You will ensure accurate administration, regulatory compliance, and a positive associate experience across a decentralized HR environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, finance, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in employee benefits administration, benefits analysis, or Total Rewards.
• Demonstrated understanding of U.S. employee benefits, including self-funded medical, dental, and vision programs; 401(k) plan administration; HSAs and other tax-advantaged benefits; life insurance and disability.
• Working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and FMLA.
• Experience with third-party benefits administration vendors and external benefit providers.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a decentralized HR environment with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to identify and resolve complex data and reporting discrepancies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, and data reconciliation.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day administration of U.S. employee benefits programs (medical, dental, vision, life, disability, retirement, voluntary benefits).
• Serve as escalation point for complex inquiries involving eligibility, enrollment, claims, and payroll deductions.
• Communicate with associates and retirees to resolve inquiries and provide guidance on benefit programs.
• Support Open Enrollment activities, system testing, eligibility validation, enrollment communications, and post-enrollment audits.
• Prepare and distribute benefits communications, enrollment guides, newsletters, FAQs, notices, and educational materials.
• Partner with HR Business Partners to support benefits administration and communications for acquisitions and employee transitions.
• Maintain accurate benefits documentation and reference materials.
