Brown & Brown Insurance seeks a Senior Employee Benefits Analyst to lead complex analyses for public sector clients and drive data-driven insights across benefit programs. You will oversee renewal work, RFP processes, and carrier evaluations while collaborating with consultants, client services, and vendors.

In this role you will mentor analysts, translate financial and claims data into strategic recommendations, and contribute to benefits strategy, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in employee benefits analytics or consulting.
• Experience with renewal and financial analyses for benefit programs.
• Knowledge of claims/utilization reporting and budgeting.
• Experience with RFP development and carrier evaluations.
• Familiarity with fully insured and self-funded plans and related regs (ACA, COBRA).
• Public sector experience and active State 2-15 license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead renewal analyses across all lines of coverage and negotiated plans.
• Develop and manage RFP processes and carrier evaluations.
• Deliver advanced financial and management reporting to clients.
• Present findings to client leadership and strategize with consultants.
• Mentor Analysts and ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
• Support compliance reviews and regulatory reporting requirements.
