Job summary

Nordstrom is seeking a Senior Benefits Analyst to serve as a subject matter expert for Leave of Absence and Time Away programs. This hybrid role will partner cross-functionally to ensure compliant program execution and provide analysis to inform decisions.

Candidates should have 5+ years of benefits administration experience, strong knowledge of federal and state leave laws, and excellent analytical skills. Additional qualifications include advanced Excel skills and preferred Workday experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in benefits administration, HR operations, or related field.
• 3+ years supporting leave/time away programs.
• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local leave laws (FMLA, USERRA, ADA).

Responsibilities

• Support administration and governance of time away and leave programs.
• Advise HR partners on program interpretation and complex leave scenarios.
• Lead modernization initiatives including policy updates and process improvements.
