The Intersect Group is seeking an experienced Senior Benefits Analyst with expertise in 401(k) auditing, benefits administration, and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of FMLA, STD, LTD, union and nonunion benefits, and open enrollment processes. Experience with Canadian benefits is a plus. This role requires strong analytical skills to resolve complex 401(k) issues and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Job Responsibilities for the Benefits Analyst:

  • Assist with 401(k) auditing, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Analyze 401(k) audits using Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Administer union and nonunion benefits, ensuring proper enrollment and compliance.
  • Provide expertise in FMLA, LTD, and STD administration.
  • Support and manage the open enrollment process for employees.
  • Work with HRIS systems to maintain and update payroll and benefits data.
  • Assist in Canadian benefits administration (preferred).

Job Requirements for the Benefits Analyst:

  • 5+ years of experience handling 401(k) plans, including auditing and issue resolution.
  • Strong proficiency in HRIS systems and benefits administration.
  • Advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs) – testing required.
  • Experience with union and nonunion benefits.
  • Familiarity with Canadian benefits (preferred).
