USI Insurance Services in St. Louis, MO seeks a benefits analyst to produce financial deliverables for clients with standard to complex benefit programs, including fully insured and self-funded plans.

You will perform market reviews, renewal projections, claims analysis, and cost-reduction modeling, while negotiating with carriers and drafting client-facing summaries and renewal letters. A Life & Disability license is preferred.

Qualificações

• 3+ years of experience in employee benefits or related field.
• High school graduation; college degree preferred.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain a state Life & Disability insurance license.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment with minimal instruction.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Ability to become proficient in internal analytic systems and carrier online reporting tools.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to carry out complex tasks with many concrete and abstract variables.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze financial analytics for clients that are fully insured and self-funded.
• Prepare standard analyses with occasional customization.
• Develop renewal rate projections, funding models, and claims utilization analysis.
• Perform carrier negotiations and prepare renewal/new plan options.
• Write client-facing executive summaries with observations, conclusions, recommendations, and next steps.
• Maintain carrier relationships and review renewal illustrations.
• Collaborate in peer review and onboarding activities.
• Keep current on industry trends and new products.
