Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center at Eastern Shore is hiring Behavioral Health Technicians for second and third shifts in our 100-bed residential facility. Our modern, hotel-like setting provides compassionate care and a structured recovery environment.

You will manage daily residential operations, support the BHT team, escalate crises to leads, and ensure comfort and safety while promoting client engagement. A welcoming, professional culture awaits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Valid driver's license and CPR certification required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Warm, empathetic personality with ability to set firm boundaries.
• Dignified, honest character which models recovery principles.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily residential operations (i.e. Intake, supervision, events, transportation, food service, medications etc.).
• Train and support BHT team in all operations and responsibilities
• Escalate any concerns or crises to Lead Behavioral Health Technician
• Oversee client engagement and morale, maintaining a warm and positive recovery environment
• Ensure client and BHT compliance to all Avenues rules, policies and procedures
