Job summary

Brown University Health’s Bradley Hospital in East Providence seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist III to oversee milieu operations, support the treatment team, and guide staff development. You will help shape daily schedules, implement behavior plans, and document care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

The role requires a Baccalaureate in Human Services (preferred) and several years in milieu therapy with supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• Baccalaureate Degree in a Human Service field preferred.
• Over three years in Milieu Therapy or related field with supervisory ability.
• Demonstrates aptitude and willingness to learn role related skills.
• Supervises up to 10 FTEs.

Responsibilities

• Milieu management and program schedule coordination.
• Supervise Behavioral Health Specialists and guide professional development.
• Design orientation materials for new staff and oversee crises management training.
• Participate in treatment team consultations with families and external agencies.
• Schedule milieu staff including vacations and days off.
• Liaise between staff and Unit RNs; adhere to hospital policies.
