Brown University Health’s Bradley Hospital seeks a Behavioral Health Specialist I to provide compassionate care for children and adolescents in a psychiatric milieu. You will help implement daily therapy plans, document observations, and support families through treatment planning and discharge transitions.

The role requires calm crisis management, CPR/OSHA certifications, and the ability to engage with multidisciplinary teams while maintaining safety and therapeutic boundaries.

Formación

• Baccalaureate Degree in a Human Service field preferred.
• Six months to one year of direct childcare work with emotionally impaired youth.
• Ability to learn role-related skills and work in a psychiatric setting.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safe, therapeutic milieu and observe patients as directed.
• Document observations in shift notes and medical records timely.
• Support treatment planning and participate in patient care rounds.
• Assist with activities of daily living and patient supervision.
• Lead or co‑lead groups and participate in crisis management when needed.
