Job summary

DC Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) is seeking a Supervisory Behavioral Health Program Manager to oversee daily program operations for the Behavioral Health Services division, at either the New Beginnings Youth Development Center or the Youth Services Center. The role includes clinical oversight in the absence of the Deputy Director and ensures alignment with agency goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or graduate/higher level degree in a health sciences field from an accredited program as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Specialized Experience: 1 year at next lower grade level or equivalent in related work to perform duties successfully.

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day operation of programmatic aspects at New Beginnings Youth Development Center or Youth Services Center.
Provide clinical oversight and supervision of staff activities related to mental health treatment plans.
Develop and monitor program measures, performance targets, and compliance with federal/local mandates.
Recruit, train, and retain a qualified, diverse clinical workforce and manage personnel for supervisory and non‑supervisory staff and contractors.
