Job summary

The Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services (DYRS) in Washington, DC, is seeking a Supervisory Behavioral Health Program Manager to manage day-to-day program operations and act in the Deputy Director's absence.

This role provides clinical oversight of mental health treatment plans, guides staff, and ensures compliance with federal and local requirements while supporting recruitment and development of a diverse clinical workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in medical/health sciences related field from an accredited program.
• Licensed Clinical Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) licensed to practice in DC.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, coordinates, assesses, monitors, reviews and evaluates department’s compliance with federal and local requirements.
• Provides guidance and program oversight for management of all programs.
• Supports recruitment, training, and retention of a diverse clinical workforce.
• Performs personnel management duties for supervisory and non-supervisory staff and contractors.
• Establishes accountability and performance targets; conducts monitoring and evaluation.
• Develops and manages a program of continuous monitoring and evaluation.

Education
