Horizon Health Corporation is seeking a Program Director of Behavioral Health (LISW or RN) to oversee the Behavioral Health Program at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center in Ashtabula, OH. The unit has 17 beds for adults and geriatric patients.

The director provides strategic, clinical, and operational leadership for behavioral health services, ensuring high-quality, evidence-based care that is compliant, financially sustainable, and aligned with organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) required.
• Active RN license or LISW in Ohio.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of related work experience.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required.
• CPR Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for behavioral health programs, ensuring patient safety and outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral health services and models.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting agency regulations.
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate services across care settings.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to drive process improvements.
