Universal Health Services is seeking a Program Director of Behavioral Health (LISW or RN) for Ashtabula, OH. This role provides clinical and administrative leadership for the Behavioral Health Program at Ashtabula Regional Medical Center, overseeing 17 beds for adult and geriatric care.

The position emphasizes program development, staff leadership, quality outcomes, and integration within multidisciplinary care models, with a focus on evidence-based, compliant care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) required.
• Active RN license or LISW in Ohio.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• 5–8+ years of related work experience.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS required.
• CPR Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical oversight for behavioral health programs, ensuring patient safety and quality outcomes.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate behavioral health services and treatment models.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and accrediting regulations (CMS, Joint Commission).
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and ancillary leadership to integrate behavioral health services.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams to drive process improvements and outcomes.
