Job summary

Suno is seeking a Senior / Staff Behavioral Engineer to make safe behavior the default on our platform. You’ll study how abuse occurs, redesign flows, defaults, and incentives, and work with Product and Engineering to embed risk-reducing changes in roadmaps.

You’ll lead cross-functional reviews after incidents and stay ahead of new attack patterns by tracking research, then translate findings into concrete backlog items that improve trust, security, and privacy.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in trust & safety, security, fraud, anti-abuse, or risk-focused product work.
• Ability to reduce risky behavior through product design with measurable results.
• Strong influence skills to push changes onto roadmaps you don’t own.

Responsibilities

• Investigate how abuse and risk occur on our platform and inside the company.
• Design changes to signup flows, defaults, rate limits, approval steps, and verification gates.
• Present proposals to roadmaps and negotiate trade-offs.
• Define success metrics and run before/after comparisons.
• Lead cross-functional root-cause reviews after incidents.
• Stay ahead of new attack patterns by tracking industry incidents and behavioral research.
• Help make safe experiences part of Suno's products.
