Job summary

Judson Center seeks a Lead/Senior Behavior Technician to implement treatment plans created by a BCBA and provide direct line therapy to children, teens, and young adults with autism spectrum disorder. The role supports staff and clients at the center under BCBA supervision.

The position involves direct therapy (1:1 and small groups), data collection, and collaboration with families and team members. Flexible hours and clinic duties are included in duties and professional expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in psychology, social work, or another related field.
• RBT required; willing to obtain RBT through BCBA supervision within 90 days.
• Must be enrolled in graduate coursework pursuing BCBA or BCaBA.
• Must have at least 1 year experience as a Behavior Technician.
• Valid Michigan Driver’s License, insurance and use of own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct line therapy (1:1 and small group) following treatment plans.
• Manage challenging behaviors using approved QBS techniques as outlined in the client’s behavior plan.
• Complete and distribute weekly parent take-home notes.
• Establish and maintain therapeutic rapport with families and staff.
• Open and close clinic as assigned; maintain clean, organized work spaces.
• Collect and summarize behavioral data; download daily data into EHR for BCBA approval.
