Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in the United States seeks a Senior Beamforming Systems & Simulation Engineer to own end-to-end system-level modeling for large phased-array satellite networks. You will develop high-fidelity simulations and define beamforming architectures.

Collaborate across antenna, RF, DSP, FPGA/ASIC teams; perform Monte Carlo analyses; translate system requirements into hardware and software design. MS or PhD and MATLAB/Python proficiency required; U.S.

Qualifications

• Strong background in phased arrays, beamforming, DSP, or wireless comms.
• Experience with MATLAB and/or Python for simulations.
• Ability to translate physical systems into simulation models and requirements.
• U.S. citizenship or eligible status for employment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end simulation frameworks for large phased-array systems.
• Model digital/hybrid beamforming, multi-beam operation, and beam steering.
• Analyze array performance: patterns, sidelobes, scan loss, interference.
• Incorporate satellite geometry, attitude, and GNC inputs into simulations.
• Collaborate across antenna, RF, DSP, FPGA/ASIC teams; document results.
