The position emphasizes interface with internal/external stakeholders, shaping and executing BD plans, and leading cross-functional teams toward mission-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree with 10+ years’ experience or higher degrees with fewer years.
• 10 years’ military experience with operational bomber time.
• Knowledge of Department of War and U.S. Navy procurement processes.
• Proven track record in leading winning strategies and tactics.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow the opportunity pipeline through strategic outreach and campaigns.
• Oversee all BD processes and gate reviews in the acquisition cycle.
• Engage with government representatives and leadership; translate needs into solutions.
• Develop and execute BD strategies; influence investment planning.
• Lead multi-functional teams to develop mission discriminators and tech strategies.
• Coordinate government relations and legislative advocacy plans.
• Use SalesForce to track opportunity health and drive BD execution.
• Build relationships with senior government and military decision-makers.
• Represent Northrop Grumman at events to increase visibility.
• Promote BD best practices and a high-performance culture.
• Ensure compliance with ethics and regulations.
