Job summary

Baker McKenzie is seeking a Business Development Senior Specialist to support the North America Transactional Practice in strengthening client relationships and market position across real estate, energy, and projects.

You will help develop pitches, proposals, RFPs, and client materials, while coordinating with partners and the BD team to drive growth and efficiency in recurring BD activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field.
• Strong business development or marketing experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Well-developed organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficient with Outlook, Teams, Copilot, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat, or similar tools.
• Familiarity with internet research and web-based platforms.

Responsibilities

• Assist with proposals, pitches, RFP responses, and other client-facing materials.
• Support QA and production of final work product to ensure accuracy and consistency with Firm standards.
• Assist with collecting, organizing, and maintaining transactional deal experience and representative matters.
• Collaborate with Practice Groups to identify new business opportunities and cross-sell strategies.
• Develop and maintain digital/print marketing collateral, including capability statements and firm bios.
• Coordinate with BD teams on events, sponsorships, and client seminars.
