Job summary

Baker McKenzie in Dallas seeks a seasoned Marketing & Business Development professional to coordinate in-market operations for the Practice Group and to support pitches, proposals, and marketing collateral. You will help expand work from the current client base and pursue opportunities with new clients.

The role emphasizes relationship building, event support, and thought leadership, with a focus on cross-group collaboration and data-driven planning to improve ROI and market visibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, marketing, business, or related field is required.
• Five or more years' experience in a marketing and/or business development role in professional services is preferred.
• Strong organization, communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and ability to coordinate priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate business development planning with Practice Group leaders and support pitches and proposals.
• Develop and maintain marketing collateral for the Practice Group and track ROI and progress.
• Assist with submissions for directories and awards (e.g., Chambers, Legal 500).
• Support events, webinars, and thought leadership initiatives across the Practice Group.
• Assist with budget tracking and vendor coordination as part of BDMC activities.
• Maintain client and matter content in CRM and support profile-building activities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align branding and firm positioning.
