Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems seeks a Senior Manager to lead Business Development Operations and Customer Engagement Coordination in McLean, VA, with substantial travel. You will report to the Director of Strategy and Market Development for the C2 and Weapons Integration Division.

Responsibilities include pipeline management, cross-functional coordination, and senior customer engagement planning, with a focus on strategic communications and process improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 8 years of DoW business experience or Master’s with 6 years of DoW experience.
• Ability to analyze a broad range of issues and influence senior DoW decision-makers.
• Experience communicating complex topics to senior audiences clearly and succinctly.
• Background in business development, capture, or technical roles.
• Knowledge of DoW acquisition, requirements, and budget policies.

Responsibilities

• Lead capture and business development support, updating Salesforce dashboards and communications.
• Analyze pipeline health and recommend improvements to increase win rates.
• Coordinate inputs across strategy, business development, and capture teams for presentations.
• Lead internal reviews and maintain awareness of policy, program, budget, and legislative initiatives affecting goals.
• Coordinate and synchronize division customer engagements with senior leaders and customers.
