Job summary

Muon Space is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, Satellite Constellations to drive growth in the DoD space sector. You will lead customer engagement and capture activities, collaborating with engineering, legal, and finance to develop winning strategies and proposals.

You will steer opportunities from initial engagement through fully awarded contracts, traveling as needed to support DoD programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in aerospace/defense with 5+ years in business development
• Ability to build and execute plans with ownership
• Experience with USG captures and leading proposals
• Proven success capturing DoW/IC space business
• Willingness to lead through uncertainty and take initiative
• Strong communication and collaboration across functions

Responsibilities

• Drive growth for Muon Space in DoD space programs.
• Lead customer engagement, pipeline development, and capture efforts.
• Develop and articulate winning strategies for target organizations.
• Identify opportunities and manage capture through pipeline stages.
• Lead proposals, RFIs, and price-to-win activities.
• Coordinate with engineering, legal, and finance to enable wins.
• Solicit customer input for product roadmap; manage cross-functional collaboration.
