Qualifications

• The candidate has 5–6 years of business development experience in a professional services environment, ideally law firms.
• Bachelor's degree is required and demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Support and sometimes lead pitch, proposal and RFP opportunities for the corporate practice and key industry teams.
• Prepare research and marketing materials for meetings with prospective clients.
• Data entry and maintenance of pre- and post-pitch activities in the CRM database.
• Maintain marketing client lists, experience management database and pitch templates.
• Assist BD Managers in supporting partners’ business development goals, including monitoring progress and relationship management.
• Assist in events and sponsorships related to practice areas.
• Prepare background research on event attendees to optimize participation.
• Lead or assist in producing events aligned with business development and firm goals.
• Coordinate event planning logistics including list development, vendor selection, promotion, execution and post-event engagement.
• Support reporting of key metrics to improve BD and events efficiency.
• Help ensure events are cost-effective, on time and within budget.
