Job summary

Castelion is accelerating the development of advanced defense systems and seeks a Director of Business Development for Air Force programs. You will own the capture lifecycle, shape win strategies, and engage Air Force stakeholders with autonomy and strategic leadership.

This role can be based in Washington, DC or Eglin AFB, Florida. A DoD security clearance is required (Active DoW Secret; Top Secret/SCI preferred), with 7+ years in defense BD or related fields and strong cross‑functional

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years in defense BD, capture management, or program management.
• Active DoW Secret clearance; Top Secret/SCI preferred.
• Knowledge of USAF acquisition and POM processes.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Air Force capture lifecycle from opportunity identification to contract award.
• Develop capture plans aligned with customer priorities and company capabilities.
• Build trusted Air Force relationships and coordinate with engineering, programs, and contracts.
• Represent Castelion at Air Force conferences, industry days, and program reviews.
