Job summary

Castelion Corporation is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development for Air Force programs to lead capture, growth, and customer relationships with Air Force stakeholders. You will own the full lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal submission, coordinating with engineering, program management, and contracts to position Castelion for successful contracts.

The role emphasizes strategic leadership, autonomy, and direct engagement with senior government personnel.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in defense BD or capture management with USAF exposure.
• Ability to own full capture lifecycle from opportunity identification through proposal submission.
• Active DoD security clearance required; Top Secret/SCI preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with senior government personnel.
• Experience with AFLCMC/EB or related Air Force organizations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage all Air Force BD and capture activities from opportunity identification to contract award.
• Develop capture plans aligned with customer priorities, competitive intelligence, and company capabilities.
• Define win strategy, price-to-win analysis, teaming decisions, and solution shaping in coordination with technical and program teams.
• Coordinate with engineering, program management, and contracts to ensure solutions align with documented Air Force requirements.
