Job summary

Insight Recruitment is seeking a Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant to join a growing professional services team. You’ll lead functional implementations from discovery through go-live, shaping solution design, configuration, testing, training and deployment while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Dynamics 365 Business Central functional consulting experience.
• Experience leading BC implementations from discovery through deployment.
• Strong knowledge of Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, Jobs/Projects and Fixed Assets modules.
• Excellent customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
• Experience gathering requirements, facilitating workshops and advising stakeholders.
• Comfortable collaborating with implementation partners and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to engage with executive-level customer stakeholders.
• Curiosity around AI and process improvement; experience with automation in consulting.
• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central certification is a plus.
• Experience with ISV or industry-specific BC solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional implementations from discovery through go-live, including design, configuration, testing, training and deployment.
• Serve as a trusted advisor for customers throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into BC solutions.
• Configure standard BC functionality with collaboration from technical resources and partners.
• Participate in discovery, solution discussions, demonstrations and scoping.
• Train end users and administrators, develop documentation and best practices.
• Provide functional guidance during complex customer situations and drive project outcomes.
• Partner with product, consulting and customer-facing teams to improve delivery methodologies.
• Provide feedback to product teams by identifying recurring needs and improvement opportunities.
• Influence consulting practices by promoting AI, automation and modern implementation approaches.
