Job summary

Capax RM is seeking a Senior Business Central Implementation Consultant to join our Microsoft Dynamics practice in the United States. You will lead client-facing BC deployments, focusing on finance and accounting processes across the full project lifecycle.

Responsibilities include discovery, configuration, data migration, training, testing and post-go-live support, with collaboration across PMs, developers and other consultants.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Business Central functional implementation experience.

The Opportunity

A long-standing Microsoft Dynamics Partner is looking to hire a Senior Business Central Functional Consultant to join their growing BC practice.

This is a client-facing implementation role with a strong Finance and Accounting focus, working with businesses throughout the full Business Central project lifecycle, from initial discovery and requirements gathering through configuration, data migration, training and go-live.

You’ll work across a varied client base and multiple projects rather than being tied to one Business Central environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead functional delivery across Business Central implementations, working directly with clients to understand their business requirements, financial processes and existing systems.
• Run discovery and requirements gathering sessions, translating client needs into practical Business Central solutions.
• Configure Business Central around client requirements, including financial setup, chart of accounts, workflows, reporting and related functionality.
• Support data migrations from legacy ERP and accounting systems into Business Central, helping ensure financial data is accurate and complete.
• Work closely with Project Managers, Developers and other Consultants throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Lead testing, UAT, end-user training and post-go-live support, ensuring clients are comfortable using their new system.
• Produce clear process and system documentation covering configurations, procedures and client-specific requirements.
• Manage responsibilities across multiple client projects while maintaining a high standard of delivery and client service.

What You'll Bring

• 3+ years of hands-on Business Central functional implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial processes and Business Central Finance.
• Experience taking clients through requirements gathering, configuration, testing, training and go-live.
• Experience with data migration and moving financial information from legacy systems into Business Central.
• Strong client-facing communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into effective system solutions.
• Comfortable managing priorities across multiple projects and client environments.
• A background or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is highly desirable.
• Business Central certifications are a plus.
