The Senior Battlespace Awareness Operator leads mission protection actions, performs advanced event characterization, and provides decision-support products to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 11+ years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with adjudicated polygraph.
• Experience leading/coordinating operations in watch floor/OC environments.
• Expertise in space domain awareness and mission protection with senior stakeholder outputs.

Responsibilities

• Lead BSA operations during shifts and critical events; set priorities and assign tasks.
• Perform advanced event characterization and I&W assessments for decision-makers.
• Oversee custody and integrity of mission data and high-interest objects; resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate deconfliction of responses across centers and partners; maintain shared situational awareness.
• Deliver executive-level briefings and high-quality written products; ensure proper classification.
• Lead development of checklists, thresholds, and TTPs from lessons learned and system performance.
• Mentor operators and conduct QA of products; provide performance feedback.
• Support integration of SDA capabilities by defining acceptance criteria and validating procedures.
