Job summary

KBR is seeking a Space Operations Center Manager to direct operations at the Space Operations Center and synchronize contractor efforts across technical requirements in coordination with the partner Space Operations Center.

The role requires leadership of a 24/7 operations team, strong space domain experience, and an active TS/SCI with Poly clearance. The position supports national security missions and involves collaboration with mission partners and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree with 11 years of space domain awareness/operations experience or Bachelor’s with 12 years of relevant experience or No Degree with 14 years of relevant experience.
• 2 years of relevant operations floor experience.
• 7 years combined experience in space enterprise operations, including systems integration and data flows.
• Active TS/SCI with Poly required.
• Familiarity with DOD satellite operations.
• Ability to perform contract tasks independently and lead teams.
• Strong oral and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor satellite and ground system operational status in real time.
• Coordinate incident response and crisis management during time-critical events.
• Manage C3 communications and ensure timely reporting and updates.
• Lead a 24/7 operations shift workforce and train personnel for mission readiness.
• Coordinate with mission partners and provide executive summaries to leadership.
