You will lead safety programs, document service activities, train customers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across utility, wind, solar, and thermal energy sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent; or 2-year technical certificate.
• 5+ years managing customer relationships
• 8-10 years industry experience in Utility, Wind, Solar, or Thermal energy equipment supply
• Demonstrated experience leading safety efforts in an operational setting
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to travel up to 20% of time
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship; Fluence does not sponsor work visas for this position

Responsibilities

• Maintain and grow strong customer relationships through professional communication and support
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software issues for battery systems remotely and onsite
• Foster continuous improvement and collaboration across cross-functional teams
• Develop subject matter expertise on hardware and software systems and serve as the primary technical resource for complex issues
• Act as a resource for junior team members on complex technical issues
• Support knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team
• Manage third-party contractors
• Provide onsite technical support and customer training on system operation and safety
• Document service activities, maintenance records, and technical reports accurately
• Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and environmental regulations
• Respond to emergency service requests and resolve issues under time-sensitive conditions
• Ensure compliance with contractual terms, conditions, and service-level agreements
• Perform other duties as assigned
