Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Senior Technician in Cupertino, CA to execute battery cell and component-level stress and reliability testing in support of engineering test programs. You will develop and install test setups, document SOPs, and prepare samples for tests.

You will perform mechanical testing including shock, heating, bending, tensile, and drop testing, and report results. This role requires hands-on experience with Instron equipment and related test methods.

Qualifications

• Experience with battery cell and component-level stress and reliability testing—shock, heating, impact.

Responsibilities

• Develop and install test setups in accordance with technical standards.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare test samples, execute tests, and record/report results.
• Perform mechanical testing including shock, compression, bending, tensile, and drop testing.
• Perform controlled heating testing.
