Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Senior Technician to execute battery cell and component-level stress and reliability testing in support of engineering test programs.

You will develop and install test setups, document SOPs, prepare samples, run tests and report results, performing mechanical tests including shock, compression, bending, tensile, and drop tests, as well as controlled heating.

Qualifications

• Experience with battery cell and component-level stress and reliability testing (shock, heating, impact).
• Experience operating Instron testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and install test setups in accordance with technical standards.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Prepare test samples, execute tests, and record/report results.
• Perform mechanical testing including shock, compression, bending, tensile, and drop testing.
• Perform controlled heating testing.
