Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV seeks a Sr. Sales Strategy Engineer to guide customer-facing technical strategy and align cell development roadmaps for MEBD. You will coordinate with automotive and non-automotive customers and cross‑functional teams in the U.S.

Qualifications

Must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or a related technical field.
Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in lithium-ion battery design, production, material sourcing, or related EV/battery industry work.
Excellent English communication skills across reading, writing, speaking and presenting complex technical information.
Ability to synthesize technical information, customer needs, and market trends into clear recommendations while managing stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

Engage with customer engineering and supply chain teams to understand needs and communicate priorities to internal stakeholders.
Travel to customers and Panasonic locations for technical meetings as needed (up to 30%).
Lead collaboration with US/Japan teams to manage development projects and ensure cells meet customer requirements.
Identify opportunities for non-EV battery applications and translate insights into cell development priorities.
