Job summary

Anthro Energy, Inc. in Alameda, CA is seeking a Senior Battery Process Engineer to join the Cell Engineering Team. You will drive new battery designs from concept to production, specify equipment, and develop slurry, coating, and assembly processes.

The role requires hands-on experience with slurry mixing and coating, collaboration across internal/external partners, and on-site work at Anthro’s Alameda lab with occasional travel. A BS with 5+ years or PhD with 3+ years in batteries is expected.

Qualifications

• B.S. in relevant engineering with 5+ years in the battery industry.
• Ph.D. in engineering with 3+ years in the battery industry.
• Familiar with lithium-ion cell design and production technologies.
• Hands-on slurry mixing and coating experience.

Responsibilities

• Advance new battery designs from concept to production reality.
• Specify and commission equipment for lithium-ion production.
• Develop and validate slurry, coating, and cell assembly processes.
• Build, test, and analyze lithium-ion batteries.
• Share results with internal and external partners.
• Work on-site at Anthro’s lab in Alameda, CA and travel as needed.
