Job summary

Factory Motor Parts is seeking a Senior Battery Marketer at our Fullerton Distribution Center to deliver, install, and service batteries across a defined route. You’ll stock customer inventories, educate customers on offerings, process warranty claims, manage cores, and nurture existing accounts while bringing in new prospects.

You will follow safety/environmental guidelines, complete paperwork, and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure timely service and high satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Maintain strong relationships with existing accounts and grow new ones.
• Identify opportunities to increase product usage and satisfaction.
• Report feedback and potential sales leads to internal teams.
• Complete paperwork, service logs, and inspection forms accurately.
• Comply with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations for battery handling.

Description

The Senior Battery Marketer is responsible for delivering, installing, and servicing batteries across an assigned route while providing exceptional customer support. Core duties include stocking and managing customers’ battery inventory, educating customers on available battery offerings, processing warranty claims, handling battery cores, maintaining and expanding existing accounts, and bringing in new prospects. The representative ensures timely service, accurate product handling, and strict adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Deliver, replenish, and pick up batteries at customer locations according to the established route schedule.
• Stock and organize customers’ battery inventory to maintain optimal levels.
• Provide customers with accurate information on battery offerings, including product features, applications, and benefits.
• Recommend products or services based on observed needs and usage patterns.
• Handle and document battery cores responsibly, ensuring compliance with company’s policies.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing accounts through reliable, consistent service.
• Identify opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction or increase product usage.
• Communicate customer feedback, concerns, and potential sales leads to the appropriate internal teams.
• Complete all required paperwork, manifests, service logs, and inspection forms accurately.
• Adhere to all DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations regarding battery handling, storage, and transportation.
