Job summary

Fluence Energy is seeking a Senior Supply Planner to develop and execute global supply plans for battery energy storage systems. The role links demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, suppliers, and order fulfillment to balance customer demand with supplier capacity and inventory.

Extensive experience with BESS components and SAP/S4HANA is required. You will drive planning accuracy, manage risks, and support S&OP processes across multiple regions, ensuring timely supply and continuous

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
8–10 years of experience in Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Production Planning, S&OP, or SCM.
3 years of experience supporting Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or related industries.
Experience managing complex global supply chains involving OEMs and strategic suppliers.
Strong understanding of MRP, inventory planning, replenishment methodologies, capacity planning, and supply assurance.
Experience with SAP, SAP S/4HANA, or comparable ERP/MRP systems.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term supply plans to support global demand and manufacturing requirements.
Balance supply availability, production capacity, inventory targets, and supplier constraints to achieve objectives.
Translate demand plans into actionable supply and replenishment strategies.
Drive end-to-end material readiness to support manufacturing and delivery commitments.
Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent disruptions.
