Job summary

Fluence Energy Global Production Operation, LLC seeks a Senior Supply Planner to develop and execute supply plans ensuring material availability and production readiness across our BESS supply chain. You will coordinate with demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, and suppliers to optimize service and financial outcomes.

The role requires 8–10 years in supply planning, hands-on SAP S/4HANA experience, and strong English/ Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations, Business, or related field.
• 8–10 years of experience in Supply Planning, Materials Planning, Production Planning, S&OP, or SCM.
• 3+ years supporting Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or related industries.
• Experience managing global supply chains with OEMs and strategic suppliers.
• Strong understanding of MRP, inventory planning, replenishment, capacity planning, and supply assurance.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or comparable ERP/MRP systems.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving capabilities; strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Fluent in Mandarin and proficient in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-, mid-, and long-term supply plans to meet demand and manufacturing needs.
• Balance supply availability, capacity, inventory targets, and supplier constraints.
• Translate demand plans into actionable supply and replenishment strategies.
• Drive end-to-end material readiness to support manufacturing and deliveries.
• Identify supply risks and develop mitigation plans to prevent disruptions.
• Analyze supplier capacity and capability to support current and future demand.
• Collaborate with procurement, order fulfillment, and master scheduling to ensure executable plans.
• Maintain planning data integrity within SAP/SAP S/4HANA.
• Monitor inventory health and drive improvements in planning processes.
