Qualifications

• BS or MS in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, Electrical) is required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in battery test/validation.
• Hands-on with electrochemical characterization techniques (HPPC, EIS, dQ/dV, cycle life).
• Proficient in data analysis and scripting (Python or MATLAB).
• Experience with battery cycler platforms (Arbin, Maccor, Neware).
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design test protocols translating performance questions into test matrices and timelines.
• Execute and manage concurrent test campaigns across cell, module, and pack levels.
• Drive lab infrastructure and equipment strategy for scalable testing.
• Analyze and present test data to stakeholders to inform qualifications and risk assessments.
• Innovate test methods to maximize insights with limited channels and time.
• Collaborate with software/data teams to automate characterization processes.
