Job summary

Analog Devices is seeking an Engineer, Battery Test & Validation Engineering to support advanced battery diagnostic algorithms. The role focuses on battery experimentation, electrochemical characterization, validation testing, and data analysis to generate trusted datasets.

The engineer will design experiments, operate laboratory equipment, automate workflows, and communicate results to cross-functional teams for validation of models and algorithms.

Qualifications

• Experience in lithium-ion battery testing and electrochemical characterization (EIS, charge-discharge).
• Experience designing and executing real-world battery test protocols using ARBIN Scheduler or equivalent.
• Experience automating test execution, data acquisition, and analysis with Python.
• Ability to connect experimental results to battery performance and validation objectives.
• Ability to work independently in a product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute battery test plans using ARBIN scheduler.
• Design and assemble custom battery test setups.
• Automate test execution and data logging using Python and related tools.
• Analyze experimental datasets and document readiness and limitations.
• Collaborate with battery scientists and algorithm developers to validate results.
