• 6+ years of applications design/development and programming with C, Oracle, and SQL in a Unix/Linux environment

Responsibilities

• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents programs
• Assists in modification of company products and/or customer/internal systems to meet client needs
• Gathers information, analyzes requirements, and prepares documentation to change programs
• Researches and analyzes existing systems and requirements under supervision
• Designs programs for projects or enhancements to existing programs
• Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity
• Assists in resolving production support problems
• Develops and suggests alternate approaches to resolving problems
• Develops test plans to verify logic of new or modified programs
• Creates documentation in program code and technical docs
• Conducts quality assurance activities such as peer reviews
• Keeps current with industry trends and standards
