Job summary

Matrix Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Senior Batch Automation Engineer to design, configure, test, commission, and support batch control solutions for manufacturing clients. The role requires strong ISA-88 knowledge and hands-on experience with batch platforms and PLC/DCS systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in ABET-accredited engineering field.
Minimum six years of controls and automation, including batch automation.
Hands-on experience with batch concepts, recipe management, ISA-88 terminology, and design principles.
Experience with batch or process automation platforms and PLC/DCS systems.

Responsibilities

Design, configure, test, commission, and support batch control solutions.
Develop functional specifications, batch recipes, and phase data.
Lead software development, testing, and start-up activities.
Troubleshoot batch execution, recipe configuration, and integration issues.
Coordinate with clients, operations teams, and project disciplines to deliver integrated automation.
Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices.
