Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of communications equipment and information transmitting devices to receive, request reports and emergency calls.
• Verifies and evaluates messages to determine action and notify appropriate staff.
• Dispatches mobile units and equipment to locations including emergencies and incidents.
• Records essential information and logs data from radio/telephone transmissions.
• Coordinates emergency procedures with other city departments during incidents.
