Job summary

Edison Smart in the Los Angeles region is seeking an experienced BAS Technician to install, commission, service and maintain building automation systems across commercial facilities. You will troubleshoot HVAC controls, work with Johnson Controls or Siemens platforms, read wiring diagrams, and collaborate with project teams.

A field-based role offering a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience with Johnson Controls or Siemens BAS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC controls and field devices.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and sequence of operations.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Los Angeles region.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain Building Automation Systems.
• Diagnose issues relating to HVAC controls, field devices, controllers, sensors, and networks.
• Carry out commissioning and point-to-point verification.
• Modify and support BAS programming and graphics where required.
• Perform preventative maintenance and system upgrades.
• Respond to customer service requests and technical issues.
• Work with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and end users to deliver projects successfully.
• Complete service documentation and provide clear updates to customers and internal teams.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high technical standard.
