Job summary
EMCOR Services Automated Controls is seeking a Building Automation Systems Design Engineer to design systems architecture, set installation plans, and drive early project pacing. Responsibilities include producing control schematics, wiring diagrams, sequences of operation, programming, and BOMs per customer specs.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering; or equivalent experience.
- 5 years' experience designing, programming, or engineering automation/control systems.
- Experience with BAS/DDC or PLC systems and familiarity with BACnet/Modbus.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop BAS including DDC controls using engineering standards.
- Interpret documents to produce control system designs and submittals.
- Lead technical decisions and ensure system functionality on projects.
- Program control logic and integrate third‑party systems (BACnet, Modbus).
- Provide technical leadership during commissioning and deliver design improvements.
