Job summary

EMCOR Services Automated Controls in Collierville, TN, seeks a Building Automation Systems Design Engineer to design BAS architectures, create control schematics, and set installation plans at project start. You will program control logic and integrate BACnet/Modbus across sequences of operation.

Lead commissioning activities, ensure design intent, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance and reliability.

Qualifications

• BAS/DDC or PLC experience (5+ years) or equivalent technical training.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Controls Engineering.
• Proficiency with BAS components, control theory, and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop BAS, including DDC controls, using engineering principles and standards.
• Lead system design decisions and ensure project compliance and quality.
• Interpret construction documents to produce control system designs and submittals.
• Develop and program control logic and integrate BACnet, Modbus, or similar protocols.
• Provide technical leadership during commissioning to meet design intent.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align design intent and execution.
• Review engineering deliverables for accuracy and reliability.
