Job summary

Daikin is seeking an experienced professional for our Building Automation team at our Chesterfield, Missouri facility. The role covers engineering for BAS projects, field surveys, controller configuration, and coordination with subcontractors.

Candidates should have a strong HVAC background with BAS/Controls expertise, excellent communication, and ability to manage project scope and costs. Travel may be required as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in HVAC industry
• 5+ years in BAS/Controls
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or management or equivalent training

Responsibilities

• Perform project-level technical tasks and manage priorities
• Configure and deploy DDC controllers across brands
• Integrate with BACnet, Modbus, Lon and other protocols
• Coordinate with subcontractors and internal stakeholders
• Maintain project profitability and manage scope changes
• Travel as required for field work and site surveys
• Lead and review work of junior staff
